Companion or Sitter Services
The main objectives are to Provide | Companionship, and | Socialization to the client.
And also may perform other chores such as;
- Cooking
- Light Housekeeping/Cleaning
- Client’s Laundry,
- Reading
- Watching TV with the client
- Get clients Mail from mail box
- Run Errands* for the client
- to include Shopping*.
- Escort*
- and/or Transport*
- to Doctors Appointments or other outings.
* Note: Prior Always Care Approval and Additional Documents Required by Always Care and State Rules.
Suggestion: If the Client’s conditions may be likely to deteriorate in the near future it may be a better choice to begin with a Personal Care Aide (PCA), as the CPS can not provide any “Hands On” care services, in order to have as few changes in staff with Client as possible.
The Always Care Nurse Supervisor will advise if this is suggested, at the time of the initial visit.
Other NON MEDICAL - Personnel from Always Care
THE Always Care HOME MANAGER (HM),
or sometimes called a “Home Maker” or “Chore Person”
Concentrates on the maintaining of a Safe Home Environment.
Their duties can include:
- Cooking
- Cleaning
- Laundry
- Feeding/Walking Pets
- Running Errands*
- Shopping*
- Assistance with paying Bills*
* Note: Prior Always Care Approval and Additional Documents Required by Always Care and State Rules.
They DO NOT focus their attention on the clients personal care needs,
THEY CAN NOT PROVIDE ANY HANDS ON CARE.
MOTHERS HELPERS
A Mothers Helper is assigned when a mother needs assistance with a Well Infant after giving birth.
The Mothers Helper assist the mother with her, with her Well Infant and/or other children and is directed by the mothers wishes, including meals and light housekeeping. (Minimum is 6 Hours)
We would assign a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) if the Infant is not, a Well Infant.
WELL BABY SITTERS
Well Baby Sitters may be available in some circumstances as needed. (Minimum is 6 Hours)
