A Brief History: What happened in September 1974? We incorporated our business in Georgia and opened on December 1st, 1974 at our office at 1132 West Peachtree (at 13th), Atlanta GA 30309.
It was close to Hawks Drug Store (Best Chocolate Shakes) on the Corner of 10th and W. Peachtree. Near Franco’s Pizza by the Slice on Peachtree. Close to The Original VARSITY, on North Ave., and near the “North Avenue Trade School” a/k/a Georgia Tech, from which I graduated (Class of 1989).
What is happening in 2020? We are still going as a family business, now in Beautiful Buckhead. And YES – WE ARE OPEN, Providing Our Client’s In-Home Care during Covid-19.
And we still have the same Phone number; 404.266.8773. Back then 404 was the only local area code in Atlanta, and you did not have to dial it first.
At Always Care, and we are always On-Call 26/7 (26/7 not a Typo) – The first two digits of our phone number are 26. The rest 6-8773 spells NURSE. Easy to Remember – Call 404-26NURSE
We like to say that the 26 is for 26 Hours-A-Day, (Ha!) which is 2 more hours per day than our competition works. Thus, we work longer – and harder to earn your business! The NURSE reminds us to be professionals like all Nurses are, and we have great ones!
What is a Nursing Service? It’s Always-Care ® We are licensed by the State of GA. to provide Skilled Nursing Services by RN’s and LPN’s as needed and ordered by the client’s Physician(s).
We are also licensed by the State of GA to provide Personal Care Aide (PCA) Services {Non-Medical Care Services} Medication Reminders and Activities of Daily Living as needed.
For Personal Care Aide (PCA) Services, Physicians’ orders are not needed!
If we are engaged – to provide both, we are able to provide a COORDINATED Caring Team!
However FREE of Charge – For All Clients, – our R.N. Nurse Supervisor will coordinate with the client’s family, Physician(s), or other Health Care Professionals to Customize and Personalize our Services for the family’s/client’s individuals needs and desires, per the information provided.
Our Clients – become part of our family – and receive the Quality Care provided our own.
