Physical Therapy Job Requirements

Elderly woman on wheelchair in nursing home with her care assistant

Thank you for your interest in working with Always-Care Physical Therapy Inc. (ACPT).   ACPT is locally owned and managed, and refers Licensed Physical Therapists to clients for in-homes assignments. We try to match your wants with our needs. You are not required to accept any assignment we offer you, however if you do accept an assignment we expect you to do the job well. “Acceptance is Commitment”

Assignments are intermittent.  This is an ideal opportunity for “Physical Therapy – MOM’s” who can work while children are in school or for someone looking for additional income.  ACPT invoices for all therapy services and remits to the therapist weekly.  ACPT handles all of the collections, maintaining of records and furnishes you the appropriate year end tax forms.  We have very competitive rates and we do not participate in Medicare or Medicaid.  You also have access to our experienced Chief Therapist to support you on your assignments.
Please understand that we may not have exactly what you want right now, but if you are not in our system we will not know what you want.  Our needs change by the minute, hour, day, etc.   Additionally, the more flexible you are the more referrals we can offer to you.

You will need to have a personal interview and orientation.  We do this partially in our office and a followed up phone review with our chief therapist at a later date. After that one office visit, we can do almost everything by phone and mail or Email.  Print this out and use this as a check list, for all of your information needed for the ACPT Interview.
